Harry hails 'miracle man' Ollie
Redknapp revelled in the glow of Tottenham's exciting Champions League draw against AC Milan but then turned his attention to the weekend game. Spurs, who beat Inter Milan at White Hart Lane to head their group after losing narrowly in Italy, will return to the San Siro in the last 16 of Europe's premier competition to take on the other Milan, the seven-time winners of the European Champions Cup. But while Redknapp admitted it was "a fantastic game to look forward to", he was more concerned about not being outwitted at the seaside on Sunday by a man in Holloway who he insists is his favourite for manager of the year. Redknapp said: "He's done an incredible job. For me there are two candidates for manager of the year, him and Roberto di Matteo at West Brom. Whoever does best in the rest of the season will get my vote. "What (Holloway) has done there has been a miracle. He's full of enthusiasm, bubbly, a great character. He's got his team playing fantastic football and getting great results. "No-one saw them having a chance to survive this year. Everybody said they would be lucky if they got 20-odd points. "They have gone away from home to places like Liverpool and turned teams over - gone to Stoke last week and got a win. They have a go, they attack, get after teams." It is exactly how Redknapp sees Tottenham approaching their match against Milan. He said: "They are leading the league in Italy and it's a fantastic game to look forward to. A great challenge for us because they have some fantastic players. You want to play the top teams and it is a great chance to bring them to White Hart Lane." Redknapp is boosted this weekend with the return of Holland midfielder Rafael van der Vaart who has trained all week after recovering ahead of schedule from his hamstring injury. There was good news too for Wilson Palacios, who has recovered from an ankle injury, while defender Younes Kaboul is also fit. Ledley King hopes to avoid an operation on his groin injury and has trained this week but is not fit enough for Sunday, although he has been making the headlines with tabloid pictures of him apparently asleep at a Tottenham Christmas get-together on Wednesday Redknapp, who banned a formal Tottenham Christmas party, said: "It's only Ledley who looks like he's fallen asleep again. "They (the players) came to me and said 'We want to go out for dinner. Rafa (van der Vaart) and all the new lads have asked can we go out'. "I said I didn't want any aggravation, behave yourselves. Ledley said 'Yeah, it won't be a problem' and apparently no-one caused a problem. "You can always get pictures of people with their eyes shut. When you've got your eyes shut it looks as if you've been drinking. I've had no reports that there was any misbehaviour. They'll do an extra bit of running to get it out of them." Redknapp, who denied reports that he had any interest in bringing David Beckham to White Hart Lane, also reiterated his belief that his team can win the Premier League this season He said: "It's wide open, We have got a chance. We played Chelsea last week and there was nothing between the teams. The teams were evenly matched. We've been to Arsenal and won. There's no reason we can't be in there in the mix. "I'm not saying we are going to win it but it is not impossible. We have a chance, the same as five or six other teams. We're on a good run. When we have got everybody fit we feel we have a chance with everybody." Redknapp maintained he was "not desperate" to add to his squad in the January transfer window but revealed midfielder Jamie O'Hara, who has been recovering from a back injury, may be allowed to go out on loan. Defender William Gallas, meanwhile, is set to return next week from his hamstring injury while there was also some good news on long-term injury victim Jonathan Woodgate. "He trained outside this week," revealed Redknapp. "For the first time in 18 months there is some light at the end of the tunnel."
