Handanovic pens new Inter Milan deal until 2019
Samir Handanovic is sticking with Inter Milan after committing his future to the club until 2019.
The Slovenia goalkeeper has made 125 Serie A appearances for the Nerazzurri since leaving Udinese in 2012 but is yet to win a trophy at the San Siro.
His contract was set to expire in June, with both Manchester United and Roma reportedly preparing offers to lure him away from current league leaders Inter.
Roberto Mancini has tied Handanovic down for another three years, however. The club confirmed the renewal of his deal in Milan with a statement published on their official website.
The 31-year-old keeper said: "When both parties want to extend then there are never any problems."
