Hammers secure Keane loan deal
The Republic of Ireland forward, who is way down the pecking order at White Hart Lane, passed a medical on Sunday. The Hammers have confirmed they have loaned the 30-year-old with a view to making the deal permanent this summer. Following West Ham's FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest, chairman David Gold said: "We're delighted to sign a world-class striker." Keane has made just seven Premier League appearances for Spurs this season after falling out of favour under manager Harry Redknapp. Redknapp previously said he was only prepared to sanction a permanent move but has since changed his mind to allow Keane to switch to east London.
