Guedioura eyes return to action

The Algerian international suffered the setback during the home Premier League clash with Aston Villa last month. Guedioura is now able to undertake gym work after having the full leg cast removed and wants to return for the finale of the campaign. The 24-year-old said: "I'm happy to start some training. It's not a lot because I'm not mobile but I can have some treatment and start my recovery. "Now the big plaster's off, I can move a little bit more. I'm still focused on getting back this season. "If I do the right thing with the medical staff, I've got a good chance of being ready for a few games this season." Guedioura, who played for his country in the World Cup this summer, has a philosophical approach to the setback which happened after a challenge by Villa midfielder Steve Sidwell. He said: "You have to step back and say 'these things happen in football'. "It could have been worse but I can come back strongly and mentally refreshed."
