Gudjohnsen joins Stoke on loan from Monaco

Stoke has signed striker Eidur Gudjohnsen and winger Jermaine Pennant on loan.

The 31-year-old Gudjohnsen is back in the Premier League after spending the second half of last season at Tottenham.

The 27-year-old Pennant is only on loan from Real Zaragoza until January.
