Greece beats Latvia 2-0 in WC qualifier

Fanis Gekas scored two goals to lead Greece to a 2-0 away victory over Latvia in a World Cup qualifying match on Wednesday.

The win gives Greece the lead in Group 2 with six points from two games, with Latvia left on three points. The group also includes Luxembourg, Switzerland, Israel and Moldova.
