Good deal for Bantams

AFC Wimbledon have made their third signing of the day by snapping up Toby Ajala on loan from Bristol City.

The 24-year-old winger, who had a spell at Hull last year, will stay at the club for six weeks.

Manager Neal Ardley told Dons Player: "Toby is a lad who I watched a couple of times at the start of the season and I tried to get him into the Under-21s set-up when I was at Cardiff.

"However, Bristol City had already made a move for him prior to me watching him.

"They signed him on a short-term deal until January, but I think they are now in the process of trying to tie him up longer term because he has done so well.

"Toby is a player with pace who can play on either flank or up front. He is what we need as he can bring more pace to our attacking play."

Midfielder Bullock will stay on Tyneside for another month and he will now be joined by Gateshead-born Henderson.

The 22-year-old started his career at Watford and enjoyed loan spells at Hartlepool, Colchester, Aldershot and Rotherham before joining the Minstermen on a two-year deal.

"A big factor in bringing Henderson in is that he is a Gateshead lad and playing for his hometown club will hopefully galvanise him," boss Ian Bogie told Gateshead's website.

The Australian centre-back, 19, has regularly captained the Magpies' Under-21 squad since arriving from Melbourne Heart over the summer.

He will stay with the Bantams until January 2 and is expected to make his debut at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
