Goias draws 2-2 with Avai with late goal

Rafael Moura scored three minutes into stoppage time to lift Goias to a 2-2 draw with fellow Brazilian club Avai on Wednesday in a first-leg match of the Copa Sudamericana quarterfinals.

Moura gave Goias a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute, but Avai went 2-1 ahead after a penalty in the 52nd by Davi, and a goal in the 59th by Marcelinho.

The return leg will be played Nov. 11. The Copa Sudamericana is the No. 2 club tournament in South America.
