Given undecided on City stay

The Republic of Ireland international is firmly second choice at the club, having lost his place to England number one Joe Hart at the start of the season. Given has only figured in cup games this term, with Hart having played every minute of every game of City's Premier League matches. Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly keen on taking the former Newcastle goalkeeper away from City, but will face a challenge trying to take a player stilll rated as one of the league's best away from their top-four rivals. The 35-year-old concedes that he wants first-team action on a regular basis next term, mainly on the basis that he wants to be match fit when called upon for both club and country. "I'd like to be playing and I don't know what will happen in the summer," Given said. "I don't know if being part of the Champions League will persuade me to stay - there's a lot of questions I don't really have the answer to. "I know there's a lot worse clubs you could be at than Manchester City, but I don't feel match-sharp when I go to Ireland because I haven't played. "It's frustrating, but the manager made his decision at the start of the season and that's his decision."
