Galliani: No Man City bid for Ibra
AC Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani insists there has been no approach from Manchester City for striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Sweden international was said to be frustrated with a trophyless season at Milan and could be of interest to the Premier League winners should Carlos Tevez or Mario Balotelli exit the club this summer.
City were reported to make their move to sign £25million-rated Ibrahimovic by offering him an incredible £300,000-a-week deal which would see him become the Premier League's highest paid player.
Gillianai has spoken out quickly to rubbish such rumours and insists Ibrahimovic is focused on winning silverware with the Italian club.
"It is not true that Manchester City asked for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He will win the Champions League with the Milan shirt," Gillianai said.
"We are happy to already be among the 32 in the group stage for next season and hope to soon be back playing a Final rather than being guests."
Galliani will be in the stands to watch the Champions League final clash between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
