Gael Kakuta and David Ngog join Bolton
Bolton has strengthened its strikeforce on the final day of the summer transfer window by signing young French forwards David Ngog and Gael Kakuta from Premier League rivals Liverpool and Chelsea.
Ngog penned a three-year contract having failed to establish himself in three seasons at Liverpool, while Kakuta joined on loan until Jan. 1.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle says Ngog ''is quick, can score goals and knows what the Premier League is all about.''
Kakuta, who spent the second half of last season at Fulham, will look to follow the example of Chelsea teammate Daniel Sturridge, who had a successful spell at Bolton between January and May.
Bolton has signed eight players this summer, including Turkey forward Tuncay Sanli from Stoke.
