FC Copenhagen's new coach Nilsson starts June 1

Danish champion FC Copenhagen says new coach Roland Nilsson will start next Wednesday.

Copenhagen said in a statement on Wednesday that Nilsson has a three-year contract.

The 47-year-old Swede replaces Stale Solbakken, who led Copenhagen to the knockout stage of the Champions League for the first time this year.

Financial details were not disclosed.
