Fab refuses to risk fitness

The Spain midfielder limped off during the 2-0 Champions League defeat in Braga last week after suffering a fresh setback with a hamstring problem in what has been an injury-plagued campaign. Arsenal head to Old Trafford for Monday night's showdown having leapfrogged United to the top of the Premier League last weekend. Fabregas, however, is offering no guarantees he will be ready to lead the side out against their title rivals. "With regards to my comeback, we will have to wait a little longer before we know anything," Fabregas said in his programme notes for the Champions League clash against Partizan Belgrade. "I have been outside running for a couple of days now and it feels good - the sensations are okay, but I haven't gone at 100% yet. "For now, we keep working. "It is feeling better every day, but the thing is to find a solution so that the problem doesn't return, so we are looking at plenty of things. "Maybe a bit of rest helps, but is also a case of discovering the source. "I would like to be fit for the Manchester United game, but we will see. "I will only be there if my hamstring is completely fine, because I do not want to go up there and see it recur."
