Everton beats Sunderland 2-1 to stay 4th in EPL
Everton scored twice in three minutes to beat Sunderland 2-1 on Saturday and give manager David Moyes three points on his 400th Premier League match in charge.
Black Cats winger Adam Johnson grabbed his first goal for Sunderland on the stroke of half time at Goodison Park. But Marouane Fellaini and Nikica Jelavic swung the game decisively in Everton's favour with goals in the 76th and 79th minutes.
Everton has not lost to Sunderland in 11 years.
The Toffees extended their unbeaten league run to eight games and stayed in the top four with 20 points from 11 games.
