England struggles but defeats Andorra 2-0 in qualifier

England needed two second-half goals from substitute Joe Cole to kick start its World Cup qualifying campaign Saturday with an uninspiring 2-0 victory over Andorra.

The Chelsea midfielder, who scored in the 49th and 55th minutes, was inserted by Fabio Capello after a frustrating first half when England couldn't break down the 186th-ranked country.
