Edwards makes move Down Under

Rookie Reading midfielder Ryan Edwards has joined Australian A-League side Perth Glory on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old Aussie is returning to his homeland where he will be managed by his father, Alistair Edwards, in a bid to gain first-team experience.

Academy product Edwards currently has two years left on his contract at Madejski Stadium.

Meanwhile, fellow Royals midfielder Daniel Carrico, 24, is undergoing a medical prior to completing a loan move to Sevilla.
