Edinho joins Maritimo on loan from Malaga

Portugal forward Arnaldo ''Edinho'' Lopes Da Silva has joined Portuguese club Maritimo on loan for the rest of the season from Malaga in the Spanish league.

Malaga said in a statement on Monday that the deal does not include a buy-out option.

The Portuguese international scored once in the Copa del Rey for Malaga this season and two goals in 10 league games in 2009-10.

Edinho played in Portugal for Vitoria Setubal in the 2007-08 season.

His exit coincides with the arrival of five January reinforcements for Malaga, including Brazilian striker Baptista.
