Dutt - Training holds the key
Werder Bremen coach Robin Dutt has pleaded for caution after a series of three successive defeats in pre-season friendlies.
After being humbled 1-0 by German third division side Osnabruck, Bremen have gone down 3-2 to both Zwolle and Ajax.
Dutt is not panicking, however, and hopes the fans will follow his example.
"It can take up to a year to perfect a new system," he said. "That doesn't mean that we're not going to win a game in that time, but I know from my own experience that you need this time before your system is fully set up which belongs only to your team.
"You can only get there by repeating things over and over again in training."
Dutt has taken charge of Bremen after Thomas Schaaf's 14-year reign came to an end in May.
Schaaf left after the penultimate game of the worst season under his guidance.
"Our aim is to lay the foundations so that we will not be playing a season like the last one again in future," added Dutt in the Weser Kurier.
