Dutch Eredivisie Roundup, Dec. 19
PSV Eindhoven beat Roda JC 3-1 on Sunday in captain Ibrahim Afellay's last Dutch league game with the club to extend its lead atop the standings by four points, while three other games were postponed due to bad weather.
Afellay, who made his Eredivisie debut for PSV under coach Guus Hiddink in February 2004, will join Barcelona after the winter break.
He will play his last match for PSV at Roda JC Wednesday in the Dutch Cup.
Jermaine Lens' early strike put PSV ahead but Anouar Hadouir leveled from a free kick in the 24th. Lens set up Marcus Berg for the second in the 53rd before Balazs Dzsudzsak's long-range drive wrapped up the win.
PSV has 41 points going into a three-week winter break. Twente, which is second with 37, has a game in hand.
