Dijon close to capturing Kakuta

The 22-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Bolton, but he made just six appearances in all competitions for Owen Coyle's struggling club. Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is again expected to send Kakuta, who joined Fulham in the last campaign, elsewhere in order for the youngster to build experience. Ligue 1 outfit Dijon now appear to be leading the race for Chelsea's controversial 2007 signing, but they could yet be gazumped. "We are in talks with Chelsea," Dijon manager Patrice Carteron told L'Equipe. "I have the agreement of Villas-Boas, but six clubs are interested in the player, including Marseille and Olympiakos, which put more money on the table. "But I am lucky to have convinced the player he was more interesting to come to Dijon."
