Dele Alli appears to throw punch in Tottenham's draw with West Brom
Dele Alli may have just won the PFA Young Player of the Year award this weekend, but his actions in Tottenham's draw against West Brom on Monday will likely put him under some scrutiny.
Tottenham were leading 1-0 after an own-goal from Craig Dawson in the first half when Alli appeared to throw a punch at West Brom's Claudio Yacob after the two got a little too close for comfort.
Take a look:
The officials didn't see it and a call was never made, but different camera angles show what seems to be an intentional act.
If the Premier League reviews the incident, and they should, Alli may face some retroactive action for the punch, which could mean a one-match suspension or more.
Losing Alli would further hurt Tottenham's chances in the Premier League title race, which are already nearly gone after Monday's draw. Leicester lead Spurs at the top of the table by seven points with three games left and can clinch the title with a win next weekend at Manchester United.
