Debutant Jesus Corona nets brace to help Porto cruise past Arouca

LISBON

Portugal - FC Porto eased to a 3-1 win at Arouca to sit atop of the Portuguese league on Saturday.

Forward Jesus Corona scored in the 15th and 61st minutes to put Porto in charge. Vincent Aboubakar capped the win with a strike in the 71st before Arouca substitute Maurides pulled one back with seven to play.

Porto moved one point ahead of defending champion Benfica, which routed Belenenses 6-0 on Friday.

Benfica hosts Astana in the Champions League on Tuesday, while Porto visits Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday.

Also on Saturday, Estoril edged Braga 1-0 from Leo Bonatini's goal in the 68th.
