Cristiano Ronaldo thanks massive Instagram following with heartfelt video

Another day, another Cristiano Ronaldo milestone. When Ronaldo isn't busy bossing affairs on the pitch, he's racking up more and more social media followers.

We learned earlier this week that CR7 became the first athlete to boast 200 million social media followers, per hookit.com, dwarfing all challengers in the sports realm.

With a whopping 50 million followers under his belt on Instagram alone, the Real Madrid talisman took the photo/video-sharing site to post his gratitude.

Sitting on a couch along with his son, Ronaldo calls the feat "unbelievable" and an "amazing achievement." Seemingly to his father's surprise, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. chimes in with a "That's right!"

Perhaps Junior learned the behavior watching papa's FIFA Ballon d'Or acceptance speech last year?
