Crash kills Mexican youth football team's doctor
A Chivas team doctor has died after a bus containing the Mexican club's youth side crashed into a truck.
The Civil Protection agency says the team was heading to the western city of Guadalajara after a game against Torreon when the bus slammed into the back of a corn truck.
Chivas team doctor Ricardo Aleandro Herrera was killed. He was 37.
Four other people were taken to a hospital with injuries, including players Cesar Vasquez and Oscar Torres, both 17. Officials did not give details on the injuries but said they were not serious.
An investigation into the cause of the accident early Tuesday morning was under way.
