Coyle unhappy with Vela agent

Vela has been allowed out in the second half of the season to gain further first-team experience. Bolton had spent much of the transfer window trying to agree a deal for Vela after Gunners midfielder Jack Wilshere impressed there last season. However, Vela opted for a move to West Brom on Friday and Trotters boss Coyle is disappointed at how events unfolded. "The player's representative sent me a list of figures he wanted added on to what was agreed," said Coyle. "What it would have cost would have been like the salary of a top, top Premier League player. He's very good but he's not at that level. "We have dealt with Arsenal before over Jack and I felt when we had agreed everything with them, our chat with the representative was going to be about football, but there was a fee which was totally ridiculous."
