Contract talks going well - Kuyt

Kuyt has another season to run on his existing deal with the Reds and he is eager to remain part of the club's long-term plans. The 30-year-old, who can play on the wing or up front, has made over 220 appearances for Liverpool since moving to Merseyside from Feyenoord in 2006. The Holland international has confirmed discussions have started over a new deal and he sees good times ahead for the Reds following Kenny Dalglish's return as manager. "My contract has one more season to go after this but there are things happening," said Kuyt in The People. "We have had some talks and I can only say it looks positive. "I feel at home in Liverpool and I don't want to leave here. "It has been a difficult time for everyone at the club with the changes that have happened since last summer but now I can sense something good is happening - I think Liverpool are on the way back."
