Confidence is vital - Feeney

Warren Feeney has urged his Plymouth team-mates to have more confidence in their abilities following the win over Morecambe.

Feeney scored twice from the penalty spot in the win and he believes the Pilgrims are a better side now that the club's financial future has been resolved.

"That (win against Morecambe) was all about desire, all about hunger," he told the club's official website. "This is a big win for us, on the road. Hopefully now the boys can realise how good they can be.

"We believe we're doing the right things. We want to do things the right way. Last year, there was a different kind of pressure. It was all about staying up, and maybe the football wasn't the best.

"Who wants to do that? We want to play football, and I think we showed how good we can be."
