Comolli's signings at Liverpool

Damien Comolli has left his role as Liverpool's director of football by mutual consent.

The Frenchman joined the Reds as a director of football strategy in November 2010, moving to a redefined role in March last year and, during his time at the club, oversaw the purchase of a number of big-fee players.

Here are the players brought in during Comolli's time at Anfield.

Luis Suarez - £22.8million

The Uruguay striker joined the Reds from Ajax on the last day of the January transfer window in 2011. He has been one of Liverpool's greatest goalscoring threats on the pitch, but a controversial figure off it.

Andy Carroll - £35m

Eclipsed Suarez as Liverpool's most expensive player on the same transfer deadline day but has enjoyed limited success on the pitch since making the switch from Newcastle.

Jordan Henderson - £16m

The England Under-21 international moved from Sunderland to Liverpool in June 2011 but has struggled to make an impact in the side.

Charlie Adam - £7.5m

The Scotland midfielder made the switch from Blackpool to the Reds in the summer of 2011 and has created a solid midfield partnership with Steven Gerrard.

Alexander Doni - Free

The Brazil goalkeeper became the third signing under manager Kenny Dalglish when he moved from Serie A club AS Roma but is notable only for his sending off against Blackburn on Tuesday.

Stewart Downing - £20m

Completed his move from Aston Villa to Liverpool in July 2011 and is still to score his first Premier League goal for the Merseyside club.

Jose Enrique - £7m

The left-back joined the Reds from Newcastle in August 2011 and has been a success in the Liverpool defence.

Sebastian Coates - £7m

The Uruguay defender joined Liverpool from Nacional shortly after Enrique but has only made a handful of appearances. Scored his first goal in the 3-2 defeat against QPR last month.

Craig Bellamy - Free

Returned to Liverpool from Manchester City on transfer deadline day last summer and has made a useful contribution of nine goals.
