Coates at Liverpool match as deal nears

Uruguay defender Sebastian Coates watched Liverpool's match against Bolton on Saturday as he prepared to wrap up a move to the Premier League club.

Liverpool is expected to pay Nacional de Montevideo around $11.5 million to sign the 20-year-old center-back, who was voted best young player in July's Copa America.

Coates watched Liverpool's Premier League match from the directors' box after flying in from Uruguay.
