Clint Dempsey has no chill, sends NSFW message to the Portland Timbers

Warning: Explicit language

Clint Dempsey and his Seattle Sounders won their first ever MLS Cup trophy over the weekend, and they were understandably pretty geeked up about it. At their celebration rally back home in Washington, Dempsey got on the mic and sent a very special message to the Portland Timbers and their supporters.

"All I got to say is, now that we won one, Portland can't say [expletive]!" hollered Dempsey, just before handing the mic off and disappearing into a crowd of his teammates. The tape delay didn't catch it, and now we have another iconic moment in the Sounders-Timbers rivalry.

It wasn't an unprompted shot, though. Last year, Timbers captain Will Johnson had a very simple and direct message for the Sounders' support: "[Expletive] Seattle."

This rivalry is already the best in MLS, and it's only going to get better now that each franchise has a chip of their own, and the shots have been fired on both sides.

You might just say it's lit.
