Carlos Tevez to sign for Boca Juniors after Copa America, club president says

Juventus striker Carlos Tevez is on the verge of rejoining Boca Juniors, according to the Argentinian club's president.

Buenos Aires-born Tevez has always maintained he'd like to end his career with Boca and has made no secret of his desire to return to Argentina, despite having 12 months remaining on his Juventus contract.

And speaking to ESPN Argentina on Friday Boca president Daniel Angelici said he expects 31-year-old Tevez "will sign the contract" with the club when the Copa America finishes next week.

Tevez made his breakthrough as a 16-year-old with Boca before leaving to join Brazilian side Cortinthians.

The Argentina international moved to West Ham in 2006, spending seven years in England and playing for both Manchester United and Manchester City.

Tevez joined Juventus in 2013 and has won two Serie A titles and one Coppa Italia with the Serie A side.
