Buffon ready to play again after surgery

Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is ready to play for Juventus again following knee surgery.

Buffon underwent an arthroscopic operation on his left meniscus a month ago.

In a statement posted on his Web site, Buffon said the post-operation phase couldn't have been better and that he's counting on playing against Chievo Verona on Sunday.

Juventus will be happy to have Buffon back, having lost three of its last four Serie A games.
