Britton relishing Reds battle

Brendan Rogers' men have already travelled to Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal this season without picking up a point - but Britton says three points at Anfield would send a message to the rest of the league. And the central midfielder admits challenging the biggest clubs in the world is more agreeable as a Premier League player. Britton said: "It will be nicer to go there as a Premier League player than just a one-off cup game. "Years ago when we were in League One we hoped for a decent run in the cup to play one of the big teams, but our aim was always to get into the Premier League and play these teams week-in, week-out. "It would be great if we could win against a big club like Liverpool at Anfield. "It would send a massive message out to the rest of the league and move us three points further away from the teams at the bottom."
