Bramble denies 3rd charge of sexual assault
Sunderland defender Titus Bramble has denied a third charge of sexual assault.
The 30-year-old Bramble was already accused of indecently touching two women in separate incidents but was told on Thursday that he faces an extra charge, made by one of the existing complainants.
Appearing at Teesside Magistrates' Court, Bramble pleaded not guilty to the third charge and was also formally cleared of a charge of urinating in a public place in October.
He will be summoned to appear at a Crown Court to answer the sexual assault charges at a date yet to be confirmed.
Bramble appeared for Sunderland in an English Premier League match against Everton on Dec. 26 but has missed the team's last two matches.
