Borriello moving from Roma to Juventus

Forward Marco Borriello is undergoing medical exams with Serie A co-leader Juventus to conclude a loan move from Roma.

Juventus will reportedly pay Roma ?500,000 ($650,000) to have Borriello for the rest of this season, with the right to then purchase his full contract for ?7.5 million ($9.7 million) at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old Borriello scored 17 goals in all competitions for Roma last season but has fallen out of favor under new coach Luis Enrique, with no goals in seven appearances this season.

At Juventus, Borriello will join his strike partner from last season at Roma, Mirko Vucinic. Juve's other forwards are Alessandro Matri, Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Del Piero.
