Bolton boss Gary Megson celebrated his new rolling contract with a win on Sunday as the Trotters saw off Newcastle 1-0 to move up to 10th spot.

Megson, whose current deal has 18 months to run, saw his side chalk up a second successive home win - after pledging his long-term future to the club. The news was confirmed by the club minutes before kick-off against the Magpies.
