Bologna sacks Malesani, appoints Bisoli
Bologna has parted company with coach Alberto Malesani and appointed Pierpaolo Bisoli as his replacement, the club has confirmed.
Malesani joined the Rossoblu outfit in September and helped the club defend its Serie A status despite it being hit with a three-point deduction for tax problems.
A statement from Bologna read: "Pierpaolo Bisoli is the new coach of Bologna.
"The club wishes to thank Malesani and his staff for their passion and professionalism during their spell at Bologna.''
Bisoli, 44, who was out of a job since being dismissed by Cagliari back in November, has signed a two-year deal with the Serie A outfit.
Malesani, meanwhile, has been strongly linked with a move to Genoa.
