Bocelli arrives to sing at World Cup concert
Classical singer Andrea Bocelli has arrived in South Africa for the World Cup closing concert.
The Italian tenor was welcomed by a local choir on Thursday at Lanseria airport, north of Johannesburg.
Accompanied by his wife, Bocelli received a beaded vuvuzela from the choir and the musician tried to blow into the horn.
On his first trip to South Africa, Bocelli says he is ``moved'' to be in the country and wants to leave ``a good memory'' of himself.
Bocelli says fans should expect pieces from both Italian opera repertoires and his personal work.
The closing concert will be held Friday in Johannesburg.
