Blues, Reds and Real target Lukaku

The Belgium Under-21 international has already made quite an impression for his club Anderlecht, scoring an impressive 15 goals in 25 games last season. Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Jose Mourinho has targeted the youngster as he looks to bolster his attacking options. Chelsea feel the 17-year-old would settle easily into the Premier League after being likened to Didier Drogba while Liverpool are looking to strengthen their forward line. However, representative Christophe Henrotay says Lukaku wants to continue his development in Belgium and is expected to stay for at least another year. "None of the clubs have contacted us or Anderlecht lately, but I know that Real came to see Romelu a few times and the interest is there," he told De Standaard. "There is also interest from Liverpool, Chelsea and all the great European clubs, but it's too soon. "The ideal scenario for Romelu is to stay at Anderlecht this year and play in the Champions League. Romelu shouldn't be in any rush." Anderlecht manager Herman Van Holsbeeck said he had noticed Mourinho's interest in the forward, saying: "We are honoured by this compliment from the greatest coach of the moment. "It's a compliment to our work in developing youth and for our club generally, but we haven't received any concrete bids for Romelu."
