Blades probe racism allegation

Sheffield United are understood to be investigating claims that a ball boy was racially abused during their game with Oldham on Saturday.

The Blades were held to a 1-1 draw by their League One rivals at Bramall Lane.

It is understood that during the game a ball boy was the target of a racially aggravated comment by an Oldham player.

Sheffield United are to look into the allegations as a matter of urgency.
