Bessone returns to Swansea

The 27-year-old spent two seasons at the Liberty Stadium before moving to Leeds last summer. But he made just six appearances under Simon Grayson at Elland Road before moving to Charlton on loan in January, and he was released from his contract in order for him to seal his return to south Wales before the transfer window closed. The move gives manager Brendan Rodgers some much needed cover at left-back, with Alan Tate out for six months after breaking his leg in a golf buggy accident on Sunday. And Argentina-born Bessone, who will provide back-up to Neil Taylor, is delighted to be back with the Swans. He told the club website: "I can't express how delighted I am to be back here. "When the call came from Swansea I was so excited. I just got into my car and drove straight down because I have such a good feeling for the club and I had a fantastic time here. "The people have always been so nice to me, and now I am back as part of the family it makes me feel so happy."
