Beasley scores to give Puebla 1-0 win at Chiapas

American midfielder DaMarcus Beasley scored in the third minute in Puebla' 1-0 victory at Jaguares on Saturday night in Mexico's Clausura season.

A 29-year-old from Fort Wayne, Ind., Beasley received a pass just inside the penalty area, cut to his right and scored on a right-footed shot from about 14 yards.

A veteran of three World Cups, Beasley has three goals since joining Puebla last summer. He scored against Pumas on Aug. 21 and against San Luis on Oct. 1.
