Bayern's Toni set to join Roma on 6-month loan deal

AS Roma has agreed to sign Italy striker Luca Toni on a six-month loan from Bayern Munich.

The Italian club said Thursday in a statement that Toni will join from Saturday through June 30 if he passes medical tests.

Roma said it will be a free transfer.
