Balotelli fined by City for breaking curfew
Manchester City says striker Mario Balotelli has been fined a week's wages for breaking a club curfew after being pictured outside a strip club less than 48 hours before a match.
The controversial Italy international violated club regulations by visiting a club in Liverpool in the early hours of Friday morning. City played Bolton in the Premier League on Saturday, with Balotelli scoring in a 2-0 win.
Balotelli is reported in the British media to earn 120,000 pounds ($190,000) a week.
City manager Roberto Mancini said Wednesday that ''every player should have good behavior before the game.''
Balotelli has generated numerous headlines for his off-the-field antics since joining City in 2010.
