Baines ruled out of United clash

Everton defender Leighton Baines will miss Sunday's trip to Manchester United with a hamstring problem.

The left-back sustained the injury late on in last weekend's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Liverpool at Wembley.

And on Thursday the club confirmed it is serious enough to keep him out of the clash at Old Trafford.

"Leighton Baines will miss Everton's visit to Manchester United on Sunday," said a statement on Everton's website.
