Baggies trail Gera and Graham

Hungary international midfielder Gera is a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Fulham. A move back to Albion would enable the 32-year-old to link up once again with Roy Hodgson, with whom he helped the Cottagers to the Europa League final last May. Hornets ace Graham is already reported to have been the subject of a £2.5million bid from the Baggies. However, his Championship employers are understood to be holding out for more for a player who netted 27 goals in all competitions in the 2010/11 campaign. Meanwhile, the Express and Star claims Israel striker Schechter has held talks with Albion over a potential £2.5million switch from Hapoel Tel Aviv, but is expected to opt for a move to Germany's Bundesliga instead, with Kaiserslautern and Hannover in the frame. The newspaper also reports that Getafe's Ghana international defensive midfielder Derek Boateng, 28, is a potential target for Hodgson.
