Baggies new boy looking to learn

The 20-year-old centre-half penned a three-year contract with the Baggies on Tuesday, but he will remain at current side Rochdale on loan for the season. Dawson helped his hometown club Dale to promotion in his first campaign as a professional last time out, and he is eagerly anticipating the challenge ahead. "West Brom is a great club with a great staff and great head coach," he told the club's official website. "I'm looking forward to getting involved and working with these people. "I know about Albion because you always look out for teams on the up and pushing into the Premier League. "I've still got a lot to learn and I can use the staff here at West Brom and go back to Rochdale and play games. "It will give me time to get used to the staff down here, the different training methods and still be getting games at the same time. "You only have to look around the dressing room here to see there is a great set of talented lads. I'll be looking to learn from them." Defender Dawson has had a whirlwind few years after only been plucked from non-league Radcliffe Borough 19 months ago.
