Ba not thinking about future

The Senegal international arrived in England during the January transfer window, penning a three-year contract at West Ham. He has been one of few Hammers to shine during the second half of the season, notching seven times in 13 appearances. His efforts have proved to be in vain, though, as West Ham were relegated out of the Premier League on Sunday. There are expected to be a number of summer exits at Upton Park, as they seek to cut costs, and Ba has been tipped for a possible departure. However, the 25-year-old claims he is yet to decide what his next move will be, with the Hammers set to wrap up the 2010/11 campaign with a home tie against Sunderland this weekend. "I haven't thought about it, to tell you the truth," Ba told Sky Sports News. "I haven't thought about it because I was playing and thinking that West Ham was not going to be relegated. I wasn't thinking about next season here or something else. "I am just going to have some days off with my family and after that I will start thinking a little bit." Ba has also given his take on the events which unfolded at West Ham's end-of-season dinner on Monday night. Players clashed with supporters at the Grosvenor House Hotel and Ba was racially abused by one disgruntled supporter. "At the beginning it was not a big deal when they tried to talk to me, but he didn't want to hear anything and he started smashing tables and insulting people," said Ba. "Security then came and took him out. People next to me at the table were saying that he was saying racist things, but I didn't know about it until people explained it. "Things like that shouldn't happen. If the fans are angry after the season I can understand, but you still have to be respectful to people."
