Audel faces months on sidelines

Stuttgart's midfielder Johan Audel has torn ligaments in his right knee and will be out for months.

The relegation-threatened Bundesliga club said the 27-year-old Frenchman was injured on Sunday in a collision in training with goalkeeper Sven Ulreich. A scan Monday confirmed the injury.

Audel arrived in Stuttgart this season from FC Valenciennes but has made only three Bundesliga appearances because of an ankle injury.
