Arsenal's Sagna out of hospital after concussion
Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has been discharged from a hospital after being concussed in the League Cup semifinal against Ipswich.
Sagna collided with Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny on Tuesday while both challenged for a ball in the air. Sagna was substituted in the 18th minute of the 3-0 win over Ipswich. The right back was wobbly on his feet after the incident and had to be assisted off the pitch and down the tunnel by Arsenal physiotherapists.
A club statement on Wednesday said Sagna spent the night in a hospital, but ''has now been discharged and overall is well and in good spirits.''
